The #FestivalPantallaDeCristal seeks to reward Mexican films, documentaries, short films, video clips, news reports, fiction series and corporate videos. It had its first edition in 1999 and was created with the objective of rewarding productions made by independent production companies, production houses and television stations throughout the country.
Other bit-pmd productions nominated at the festival have been Estafeta Cineminuto, Voices of Mixquic and Dulce Alarido.
