Tierra Señalada | Documentary short
A meditation on time, design, and the silent dialogue between myth and matter.

Synopsis
In the heart of Mexico lies Teotihuacan, a city of stone and silence that once shaped the imagination of civilizations to come.
Tierra Señalada follows the creation and installation of a new wayfinding system designed by the legendary graphic designer Lance Wyman, whose work has defined the visual identity of Mexico for decades. What begins as a documentation of porcelain-enameled steel signs soon transforms into a poetic meditation on myth, memory, and the timeless dialogue between past and present.
Through the voice of ancient Nahuatl texts, the hypnotic rhythm of the factory, and the vast landscapes of the archaeological zone, the film explores how signs—both physical and symbolic—guide us through history, identity, and belonging.
